NFL season is in full swing, but it seems the ugliest battle isn’t happening on the field – but between one player’s wife and former mistress.
Buffalo Bills’ player Jordan Poyer, 27, has found himself caught in the middle of an Instagram war between his wife Rachel Bush, 20, and ex-fling Summer Rae.
Rae took to Instagram on Monday night to share dozens of texts she has received from Bush, claiming the Instagram model has been incessantly harassing her.
In one of the texts Bush appears to tell Rae that her ‘life is over b***h’ and that she will ‘literally have everyone and their brother beat your a**’.
‘Go back and enjoy your hoe life while we live our best lives,’ another message from Bush to Rae reads.
In one text exchange, Rae – a student at the University of Buffalo – reveals to Bush that she only got with Poyer because she was ‘told you guys were divorcing’.
‘I don’t want your husband, I don’t want to hurt or ruin your family,’ she writes.
‘I saw that y’all got back together when he came to visit you, so I said my goodbyes to him and was happy for him.’
‘It wasn’t like that at all, [I know] you won’t believe me and it’s already to this point and whatever happens after this I wish you guys the best!’
Bush simply responds: ‘Prayers for you and your whole family lol’.
It seems that Rae’s explanation for the affair was not enough to calm Bush, who sent her a rant of texts about Poyer, whose name the student redacted when posting the grabs on her public Instagram page.
‘Good luck in life,’ one message reads. ‘You’ll never be a mother of a wife anyone respects. And most certainly will not ever be apart of (redacted) life.’
Bush then went on to say that she and Poyer ‘made our mistakes and we’re both moving past it’.
‘You’re in the past,’ she continues. ‘And if I ever see some s**t like this come out your mouth or you text him this again I’ll be dragging you’re a** to court will (sic) every single screenshot I have on you.’
‘Now go back and enjoy your hoe life while we live our best lives.’
‘Lol shut up (redacted)’, Rae replies. ‘Stop texting me.’
In another text exchange, Bush claims Rae is ‘still lying’ and that her ‘life is over’.
‘You aren’t s**t,’ she wrote. ‘I have people everywhere I found out everything.’
‘Don’t f**k with MARRIED men you stupid child. You’re in wayyy over your f*****g head now.’
‘Summer I will literally have everyone and their brother beat you’re a**.’
In yet another text exchange, Bush tells Rae that ‘if I ever see you your (sic) dead literally)’.
‘Biggest hoe ever,’ she continues. ‘F*****g with a married man.’
Rae replied that she didn’t see how ‘this is my fault’.
‘(Redacted) gets drunk af and is a bucket case,’ Bush replied, clearly referring to Poyer.
‘You are just as much to blame as he is. If not more. Biggest hoe ever. And everybody gonna know.’
‘And when I’m out there and I see you (which I will) you’re gonna regret even being born. Have a good day my love,’ she writes, including a smiling emoji.
In another screen grab, Rae tells Bush that she doesn’t ‘want to do this anymore’.
‘I have not said or posted one single thing I can’t help what my friends are posting, but if you stop I’ll tell them all to stop as well,’ she writes.
‘This is all a game to me at this point,’ Bush replies. ‘Hope you’re enjoying.’
Rae said she has received Instagram messages, calls, FaceTimes, and texts from Bush off random numbers.
‘Even when I block them all,’ she added. ‘I’m about to break my phone.’
One grab even shows Bush contacting Rae through an Instagram account she made for her and Poyer’s one-year-old daughter Aliyah.
‘After four months of being harassed/lied to I finally grew a pair and am sticking up for myself…hoping this will all end sooner rather than later,’ Rae wrote in her Instagram story.
‘I’ve been trying to be the bigger person here…for all my friends that know the real story and what I’ve been through with this I appreciate you.’
‘You can only take so much before it starts to affect you and I’m sorry I’ve hit my breaking point.’
Rae also posted a collage of Bush’s most scantily-clad Instagram photos, scribbling the word ‘Respect!!’ over them.
And she shared a clip of Bush twerking on a stage in a thong bikini, writing: ‘Whatever this is…I hope you won!’ and tagging her in it.
Poyer met Bush through Twitter and the pair were married in February in Jamaica.
The NFL player was previously engaged to Maddi Sprott, whose family members claimed he cheated on her with Bush.
Poyer seemed to indicate there was trouble with Bush in July, when he tweeted his wife an apology.
‘In life we all make mistakes. Best thing to do is learn from them and to not make the same mistake twice,’ he wrote.
‘Letting down the people that mean the most to me sucks…I’m sorry @Rachel_Bush I love you to death…can’t wait for us to grow stronger.’
Bush later wrote to her followers that she is ‘no angel either’.
‘I did things that could’ve pushed him to that point…before we were married, but no excuse on either end. Two wrongs most certainly do not make a right.’
Meanwhile, Rae has claimed that she only started a relationship with Poyer after Bush cheated on him.
‘He’s actually a really nice caring person,’ she wrote on Instagram. ‘He was just hurt she cheated on him…no hate to him.’
