Cowboys Defender Albert Huggins Shoves Los Angeles Rams Staff Member During Joint Practice

Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Albert Huggins shoved a Los Angeles Rams staff member to the ground during the team’s joint practice on Wednesday.

Huggins was performing one-on-one drills that pitted Cowboys defenders against Rams offensive linemen.

After Huggins shed a block from Mike McAllister, he regains his footing before putting both hands out to push the Rams staffer to the ground.

The Rams staff member may have been emulating a quarterback for the linemen in the drill.

Whether or not the shove was intentional is unknown, but Huggins made no attempt to apologize and ran back to his team to continue the drill.

The Rams offensive lineman were clearly upset with Huggins, as several expletives were said in his direction after the shove.

No Ram shoved or punched Huggins in the aftermath as he retreated to be back with his team.

Huggins was ushered away from the one-on-one drill by a Cowboys staff member before anyone escalated the situation further.

The video was posted to X by a reporter from The Athletic, who posted a video two minutes before the shove of the two trench units getting into a shoving match that took several seconds to separate.

The Rams and Cowboys are hosting joint practices after playing in a preseason game on Sunday, won by Los Angeles 13-12.

This was the second straight day of the Cowboys and Rams practicing together with no other contentious moments being seen between the squads.
